Linkable comes with a child theme that you should use if you are going to make styling or code changes. This is a good practice with any theme.
Child Theme Installation:
- Make sure you have already installed the main Linkable theme before you install the Child theme.
- After the main theme has been installed, navigate to Appearance → Themes.
- Click Install Themes and click the Upload button.
- Navigate to the linkable-child.zip file on your computer and click Install Now.
- Once you activate the Linkable Child Theme, you will be redirected to the Setup Wizard. If you have already setup the theme you will just click the Not Right Now button to return to the WordPress dashboard.
